Venue
University of Southern Denmark, Odense
The workshop takes place in the SKY ROOM on FLOOR 14 of the CAMPUS HOUSE.
(You can’t miss it. It is simply the tallest building in the area.)
University of Southern Denmark SDU
SDU University of Southern Denmark is the largest educational institution of the Region of Southern Denmark. Odense is the main campus of SDU, and nearly all the university’s programmes are represented here. The buildings at Campusvej 55 accommodate about 21,000 students and 3,300 employees.
The campus is located roughly three kilometers from the city centre and is larger than the Principality of Monaco. In addition to buildings used primarily for teaching and research purposes, SDU Odense also houses a variety of facilities such as a gym, a bicycle repair shop, an indoor swimming pool and the best athletics stadium in the world, according to the International Olympic Committee.
Odense – Hometown of Hans Christian Andersen
Odense is rapidly evolving, and if you haven’t visited in the last few years, you’ll be surprised by all the new possibilities. A new H.C. Andersen House, a brand new quarter in the city centre covering the real estate that the enormous 4-lane thoroughfare used to cover, the light rail is running, exciting things are happening at the harbour area and much more.
At the same time, Odense also features cobbled streets and colourful little row houses in the historic quarter, fantastic and sometimes quirky festivals throughout the year and a location in the middle of the island Funen, known for its many castles and manor houses and beautiful scenery.

Travel to Odense, and SDU (Address: Campusvej 1, 5230 Odense M)
For people flying in, we recommend flying to Copenhagen Airport: https://www.cph.dk/en
From Copenhagen airport there are frequent trains going to Odense Central Station (Odense St.). We recommend looking for IC or ICL trains as they do fewer stops on the way to Odense, and you will not have to change trains in Copenhagen.
Within Odense, there is a tram/light rail (letbane) running between the city center and campus.
